Equine Physiotherapy

 

Assessments and treatments are conducted within the comfort of your own yard.

During the physiotherapy session a detailed history will be taken followed by gait analysis and clinical palpation.

 

Treatment will be provided as necessary and may include:

 

Soft tissue mobilisation - including massage, myofascial release, reciprocal inhibition

trigger point release.

Joint mobilisations

Electrotherapy - LASER, muscle stimulation and ultrasound, TENS, Microcurrent, thermo or cryotherapy 

Exercises - stretches, mobility and core stability exercises

Rehabilitation exercise programes

Gait re-education

Kinesiotaping
